wishes i could relieve my poor baby of his reflux

giving all this medication hurts but i know it is for the best

8 week injections

So we have had a rough two weeks at our house. Oscar has been poorly with reflux and colic, plus a cold, he has had a little bit of constipation.

There has been high stress on my side, i worry continually about my precious bundle of joy, so imagine how i felt when i received my jabs appointment.

I hate needles, i hate oscar crying in pain, not my idea of fun, i dont think any mum likes this process, but for the moment oscar seems to be coping with the double pricks of needles in his chunky legs.

Now oscar is in bed i am sat in awe at Good mothering programme on channel 4.

this is one thing they have covered and i dont know wat to make of it

So i spent a couple hrs next door and oscar was as quiet as a mouse brought him home and hes screaming my house down.......great another late night

Tuesday looming

After having my fiance home for 6 weeks he is due to return to work Tuesday. Wondering what daily life will bring with only one pair of hands. It's been really nice to have him home as it has made life lovely, he cooks and cleans and helps with the baby, be really nice to know we have more than sick pay coming in but life is set to change and it scares me

Three Hourly Feeding

So i put my 7 week old on new milk due to colic and constipation, after buying i spent the first 24 hours struggling with the teats, size one clearly did not work. Was an hilarious situation as all i had was a paper clip. So i got some size 2 teats the next day and he played up, one minute he took his feed the next he stopped. I did not get it and was stressing out. Yesterday i bought two vari flow teats and i love there thinking, only problem overnight my lil munchkin has been going three hourly and the feed he is just having was a two and half hour gap. Think little man is having a growth spurt. I wanted to clearly understand Tommee Tippee thinking on vari flow teats, so now we just say to oscar " no sucky, no feedy"
